Q: How difficult is the hiking?
A: Hikes can befrom an easy to moderate nature, or more strenuous if that's what your looking for. All are on well maintained trails, and can be completed in just a few hours. Elevation gains vary from a few hundred feet to thousands, and trails range from "round trip" to "out and back." I've taken folks of all ages and all abilities hiking. There is a hiking experience for everyone!
Q: Will there be opportunities to take pictures?
A: Yes, indeed! We will stop at overlooks of the Virginia Piedmont, the Shenandoah Valley and the Allegheny Mountains
Q: Are seniors welcomed?
A: Most definitely! I encourage the young at heart to enjoy the great outdoors
Q: What should I bring?
A: Comfortable shoes, a day pack, water, snacks, lunch, camera, sunscreen, wallet, identification, medications, bug spray - No Sandals or Flip-Flops
Q: What should I wear?
A: Clothing that you can easily move around in and is comfortable. I encourage looking at the weather forecast for the day of your trip. You can do so by clicking the following link Click Here
Q: Is lunch provided?
A: Lunch is not provided, but we have lunch together at a local favorite

A: Pets are not allowed on some trails. Please contact me to find out which ones.

Q: What is a White Crow?
A: White Crows, aka Albino Crows, are products of a rare genetic mutation that occurs from a lack of melanin pigmentation in the body. I didn't know they existed until I saw one in my backyard a few years ago. I was immediately captivated and decided to name my hiking group at the time after it, "White Crow Hiking Group."
